![]() Its newest update critically aims at the long-going PlayStation saves bug, but could possibly result in more issues for players in the future like previous updates. Ten years after its release, Skyrim continues to receive updates to improve its overall quality and fix ongoing issues. ![]() Sadly, the downside is that mods are once again broken and players will need to wait for a new version of the Script Extender, as the downgrade doesn't work until modders update it. Besides the critical patch for PlayStation users, the update also brings Creation Club and texture fixes, lighting issues, crashing when spamming the fireball spell, and many more on all platforms. Though the issue has been known for years, the bug started becoming more common following Skyrim: Anniversary Edition's latest patch - which was intended to fix black screen errors. Bethesda however doesn't fully guarantee the bug will go away for some players but is working on permanently squashing it.
